John Huck recently wrapped up an extraordinary 37-year career in local and cable news — including 23 years as the evening anchor at FOX5 here in Las Vegas. Over the decades, John has been on the front lines of some of the most pivotal stories of our time, most recently the wildfires in Altadena and Pacific Palisades this year.
His work has earned him six Emmy Awards and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for his powerful reporting on the first anniversary of 1 October.
In early 2025, John stepped away from the anchor desk to launch Huck Communications — where he now helps business, legal, medical, and nonprofit leaders find and sharpen their voice. From keynote coaching to crisis communications, he brings the same clarity and calm he was known for on air. He also continues to serve as a sought-after event emcee and corporate speaker.
